turrets... help please

Im trying to just take a hog gun turret and put it on a base. Ive heard a bunch of different ways that it can be done, but none work. Is there a plugin or what? plz help

I've seen it too, I *think* this is how it can be done:
use deadly's duplication tut (Im too lazy to get a link right now) to dup the warthog.
1. replace all the parts of the warthog except the gun with an invisible texture (like Cryo glass)
2. disable all the parts of the collision model of your new vehicle
3. then go to physics, and change the gravity multiplier of your vehicle to 0 (if that doesnt work, try 0.0000000000000000001)
4. place it somewhere useful using Sparkedit
I just thought that up, it probably wont work but I gave it my best shot...

hmm...change the bitmaps never thought of that i only changed the model which makes it so u can never get ur hog back.

ya there is a tut to download i think that has turrets on bg in it

a tut that includes a mod in it? would it be in the files.halomods.com forums?
