ive often woundered this myself. how cool would it be to have black sabath's iron man play as you step out of the cryotube in the begining or when you get your first pistol.that or scorpions alian nation as you start running through the halls of cov ship when your trying to save captin keys. and you could do white stripes seven nation army when your running around underground on silent cartographer. then you could do some good techno during mass onslaughts. ya any one know?

What I meant was to change that weird music chorus thing that starts up in the main menu. U know, the music that starts playing at the bit where it has the options to click on campaign, multiplayer, settings, credits, quit and all that I want to change that music.
But it would also be cool to add music in-game like when you are walking around bloodgulch you have some cool music on instead of just nothing.

If you want some cool music when your walking around in blood gulch just get some "cool" music, make it into a playlist in windows media player, and play it. Wow that just reminded me, wouldnt it be cool if you could add a radio to the warthog like in the GTA series?

It's over 3 minutes long. If you listen to it all, instead of just where it seems to drop off, it's longer. Plus I have an MP3, or something of it.

We are talking about the same menu music, right? Because in my version of Halo, if I sit at the menu the entire "song" will play.

extract it with hmt and find out for yourself if you dont believe me...

and the "song" yuour hering are just different premutations of it of it.

So, what, it's 3 seconds long, but they slow it down by about 40000% to make it 3 minutes long?

its called a loop and premuation.

That I don't understand.
No, no, no, I've got an MP3 of the EXACT song played at the menu of Halo, it's over 3 minutes long. As a matter of fact, it's 3 minutes and 2 seconds long. I just looked at about four minutes ago. If I play this song, then launch Halo and sit at the menu for 5 minutes, I'll hear the exact same song.
