HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I started testing Mono's Pelican mod about a month back. I was honored that he would let me test his mod, I was really excited. I was told "not to give it to anyone" and to keep it extremley on the low, so I did, untill last week. I was bored and I wanted to play this exclusive mod with a few of my friends online. I talked to them all, told them to keep thier mouth shut, and not to release! I put the file on my personal webspace through my college so that they could have acess to it. After this I went home for the weekend and forgot about halo for a while to do schoolwork. When I came back I learned what happened from Mono, and then I saw that the leak was linked to my webspace. Who made the thread leaking the file and talking badly about the guys at halomods I don't know. But I do know that it wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for my stupid mistake. I have recieved nothing but help from the guys over at halomods on IRC and I want everybody to know that. I talekd to Mono, and we are ok, althogh I will not continue to test for him, and for that matter I don't deserve to. I hope you all can forgive me for making this stupid mistake, and know that I don't know who created that thread. Once again to all the guys at halomods, and you guys here on the forums, I'm sorry that my mistake ruined the surprise. I hope you can forgive me.

It really is just a fricken mod. Does it really matter if it is leaked or not? There will be hundreds more of these. Not big of a deal. You guys are acting like it's the end of the world. I forgive u anyway Glass.

If you ask me, you don't deserve to be forgiven...I hate people who are given secrets, and told to keep them a secret, then they turn around and tell others, but point out that it must be kept a secret...You just shared it, what makes you think they won't start sharing it too???Suddenly everyone has it, and guess who's fault it is...Yours, for setting a prime example of how well secrets are kept...

Anyone can make a mistake and ask for forgiveness. But the mistake is done and nothing can't change that. i agree with iron.

I did not post this formal apology to be flamed. I didn't show friends untill Mono started talking about releasing the pelican "in a few minutes". I didn't think I would cause this much trouble, I know it was stupid of me, and I don't need you telling me that. I said I was sorry, and that is all I can do at this point. Just know that it wasn't intintional. Whether Iron_Forge wants to forgive me or not is a diffrent story. I don't need your forgivness. I have always envyed the work you did with Halo (Offset Lists) but you have proven to have a touch of "not so great" in you.
