gd people need to stop posting about this exspecially in teh halo modding general section ok ill explian why it cant be done
1. Because it cant
2. Because there Vertices have to match original model or be very close and they cant be more only a little less
Thats why next time use the search bar but what u can do is remodel which is also fun to do

HEK and Halo Custom Edition allow complete custom content. It is different from Halo PC, but has all the same maps and stuff originally. You need a Halo PC CD Key to install it (the download is free though). Check the section out and do some searching throughout it. Just don't mix up PC modding with CE modding, two seperate different things.

they dont hhave to be the same vertices/indices, theres a mac program which will allow more verts then the orginal.

It allows a new model to be imported. Also, it's MAC. For actual custom models and content, including full UV Mapping support, marker placement, etc, it's better to start from scratch and compile. MUCH better. So much better looking.
