editing cubemaps

ive been trying to edit cubemaps in photoshop but when i inject them over the new texture and go in game the cubemap shows up with the mip map surrounded by black. what happened? is there a way to fix it?

sounds like something got messed up in the saving. idose the minimap show what j00 edited it to or what was origionaly there?

You can't edit a cubemap in PC, period. It contains 6 seperate "faces," and HMT is only able to extract one, as it cannot read the data of the cubemap bitmap beyond the first plate.

So, if you edit and inject, prepare for some pretty messed up results.

Sucks, but that's life.
