Problems with othere players seeing new vehicles...

I have both Halo and Halo trial. I use Trial for multiplayer (cause people acually join your server). Anyway, I have this tool called Kore's Halo Tweaker. I has various mods that you can put into the trial with the click of a button (or take them out). I used the mods that change the Banshee into a ghost and the rocket hog into a tank. Other players saw those vehicles as the normal hog and banshee but mine were ok. the vehicles acted fine for people, but the model and sound wasn't changed :?

p.s. the tank mod changed all the weapons into fuel rods, rocketlaunchers, and sniper rockets( Yes....rockets ) I WANT TO USE THE REGULAR WEAPONS!!!!

Other players cant see the vehicle changes. They would need the mod.

Vehicles changes sync over the netcode. (Well, they SHOULD.)

Not swapping vehicles. That doesnt sync. The clients still see the normal vehicles.

ok heres the full answer lol, no any mod that u host and have active no other online multi-player player can see. they can experience it such as ammo switch between weapons, but would basically be shooting invisible ammo. vehicle wise, nobody can see skins, different vehicles, or different projectiles other then its default. also when there is a vehicle change in a multiplayer map, u might be familiar with the "vibrating vehicle" or "death vehicle" does that answer ur question Mr.Waffle? :D

its sooo weird, cause when i was playing the trial once (before i had Halo the full game) someone had a tank mod and I SAW the tank, heard the rumble and shots,etc. but i didn't have halo, so my computer had no knowledge of the tank, and i didnt have the mod (if i did, i wouldnt have started this...)

if u get the full vsn and use sparkedit ppl will be able to see the changes

to the person who started the post... where did you obtain this editor, sounds simpler than what im doing, anyway, yeah people usually have to have the mod to see the mod your using
