Im am sort of new to this, but I think I have made a pretty decent mod here. It's not filled with super weapons and is a lot of fun. Try is out and tell me what you think. It's not just hex editing either. I changed several meta values, and used Sparkedit, So I'm not that big of a newb. Thanks Have fun
++WEAPON DIFFERENCES++
-Replaces Tanks in Blood Gulch with Banshees
_Banshees are faster (But not too fast)
-Edited Banshee Projectiles (Both)
-Edited Assult Rifel Projectiles
-Edited Shotgun Projectiles
-Edited Pistol Projectiles
++TEXTURES++
-Makes the Banshees darker, and more shiney.
-Different Wheels on Warthogs (Just For Fun)
++LEVEL CHANGES++
-I placed two platforms on both sides of the map with turrets to counter-attack banshees.
-The Teleporters Take you to the Platforms (High)
-Created a few bunkers with logs and Rocks for more cover.

The log is in the scenery offsets. I just replaced the shrubs with logs, and moved them in SparkEdit.

where'd u get the scenery offsets? iron_forge's offset site? i didnt c them there...

The mod worked... But the textures didn't... For me atleast. Anyone else get this problem?

Thats strange. Its worked for other peopl. Are you sure you applied the ppf to the BITMAPS.MAP file?

the mod rocks. although i think the AR is a lil over powered. one thing though. how do u get down off the platforms without having to kill urself?

Well. HA. I couldnt add more teleporters so I replaces the health on eath base with a shield. . . I just grab that before I teleport. Kind of Ghetto But the only way.

yea i kinda figures that out. but when it comes down to an 8v8 CTF and they are assaulting ur base with 3 to 1 banshees ur not gonna have time to grab the overshield and it runs out slowly so even if u do settle the score and take out 2 or all the banshees ur kinda screwed to get down

Maybe make the platforms a lil bigger (wider) and add another Overshield. So you just pick up the overshield and drop down? You said u couldnt add any more teleporters right?

I could do that. . Does anyone want to help me with this MOD. I have played it online, and it is a lot of fun, but I want to add more. Im not very good at texturing so if anyone wants to help me make textures tell me.

just swap the offset of something with it. Its already in the map's code, just not in the map's objects.

Hmm, ive been modding for like 5 months and i can do textures pretty good. AIM me if you want my help. Its conner4528 and ill be on at like 6 o clock.
