My Plan To Have n00b Free Forums...

Isn't there a way to password protect forums? I dunno, but if so someone should make another modding general board and password protect it and only give the password to people with, say, 150 or more posts or something.
I dunno, maybe this is totally gay. I am just so tired of half of the topics I read being about how to do freakin easy stuff...

I never said only let the "good" modders in. You'd get to post at the "n00b free" forums also, since you have 100+ posts.

No worries. Anyways, so I guess no one else agrees?
*sigh*
The best Halo Modding site on the net, and it's 75% n00bs...
Let me just say now that I don't think all n00bs should be killed or whatever. We were all n00bs at one point in time, whether we like to admit it or not. I am talking about the stupid n00bs who would ask stuff like "What's the password for hmt?" and just plain annoying crap like that.

You forgot the Bitchy Ace types (Banshee Ace)

Yes, how could I forget. The homosexuals. There are many types, and I don't like any of the ones who complain, or whine, or ask VERY simple questions ALL the time...
I just want like an elite or good modders board or something, where the good modders can discuss things. Not sure if I'd be let in, since the coolest thing I've submitted was my Blood Gulch Turrets mod, which added 11 'hog turrets to Blood Gulch...
*shrugs*

It shouldn't matter about post count really, that would encourage spam. They should be hand-picked by the moderators of this site. Or voted in or something. I dont have over a 150 posts, yet I have been here much longer than most. And have contributed a lot as well.
I do agree tho, I am really sick of all the noob topics over and over again.
How do I get a pelican? How do i make the warthog fly? Seriously, it is getting really annoying.

Seriously we should make a Newb Search engine program before you ask a question you have to search there for it and everytime a new newb question is asked we just add it to there.

That's what the search button is, but none of them use it anyway.

Or, a program built into this phpBB forum that makes it so every new user, before posting, comes up with a redirection to a prompt saying," please use the search engine before asking a repetitive question." And a link to the search engine. Or something for the first time they log in. Something along similar lines.

And it was a total mistake, he didn't know he wrote that plugin and if that pissed off Iron Forge enough to just leave the forums, thats pretty sad unless that *accidentally* tipped him over the edge. I mean, comon, wheres the beef?

Um, what happened there? I never heard anything about this. Could someone please enlighten me?
