AotCR Mod, Pelican Mod

Well because of some technical problems that I didn't forsee, the Assault on the Control Room mod isn't gonna happen. In fact, it looks like converting *any* SP maps that have outdoor areas won't be possible at all right now.

I've started converting the Hangar area from the Pillar of Autumn for my next project. That's the best of the available choices IMO.

Also, alot of people want the pelican - I was wanting to save it for my AotCR mod, but since that won't be happening, I'm probably just gonna release it as a death island mod along with some other stuff (Wraith, maybe more) Look for that in the next day or so.

The hangar is fun to play around in.. it's *massive* :o
I think it'll make a good map.

Sorry to hear the outdoor stuff doesent work right now. I cant wait for the Hanger though, that is gonna be sweet and the Pelican mod will be realy cool as well :D

Will there be a possibility of Pelicans in the POA Hanger mod? That way people could fly pelicans back and forth from those balcony things on the sides of the hanger.

Make the Wraith actually playable...
thats easy just change its driver seat to G-Driver or W-Driver.. same with pelican but change that to B-Driver its better..

No, I mean make it playable, as in, it doesn't suck and you can aim it semi-properly.

If by playable you mean easy to fly upwards you can just change the upper HUD limit. I think what we all want is the ability to use a pelican in multiplayer though. Man I can't wait till you release it. Good job MonoxideC.

There have been a *ton* of modifications done to this pelican by myself and ViperNeo.

I think you'll find that it's a very useful multiplayer vehicle now, and there's one new feature that'll blow you away (I was shocked as hell when Viper showed me - it's all his doing)

It flys great, all the seats work great, and the misc little problems - like not being able to get back out once you get in, and not being able to walk into the back without getting into a seat - have all been fixed.

Hopefully this'll be out today, but I can't guarantee. Tomorrow at the latest ;)

Oh and Pelicans in the Hangar - Definately.

lol dude theres a little thing called doing and thinking just cause you think about doing something doesnt me squat and someone does it before you they obviously thought about it before you did and made it happen trust me If you do something just not think about doing something you will go alot farther. Oh ya mono about what time today or tommorrow could you put the time zone to so I can look it up.

If your talking to me (hard to tell since your EXTREMELY vague) I didn't say he stole it or anything, and I would do it, had I the knowledge of how to aquire the knowledge of how to do it sooner than I currently am. And no it does not mean he thought about it before me, it just means he can do it before me.

Also what I said was because I was glad I would get to play that sooner.

to bad i can't mod or anything

because i'm logged in as a guest...and whenever i try to use hmt..it says i don't have permision to acces that

do you think that i will be able to apply this mod without actually going into the .maps folder? or anything like that

good luck monoxcide ! sorry about losin I_F though he must have been a huge help.
the reason that only one part of an SP map can be made into MP is because MP only supports one bsp structure.i would definetly go with the hangar in POA or the halo tunnel bridge.
