Incindiary grenade

Can anyone help me in making an incindiary grenade?

I tried a couple things but both were failures.

that sounds cool, try swapping some of the grenades effects with some fire effects from the flamethrower.

THis is the best I can get, it goes out from the frag in the direction the frag was pointing when landed, but has no dmg. I also have one with less fire but it does the normal frag dmg, I guess I'll wait until hek or other tools come out to makew a better one.

Anyone have anymore Ideas? I'm growing desperate and waiting for the hek is just plain annoying. It would be the sweetest if anyone knew how to make the grenade explode and fire burning flame proj, but I doubt it's possible.

You can extend the range and swap the damage for the grenade explosion with teh damage from the flame thrower, like the burning thing.

I don't think that would do anything except make the dmg and force and range diff. Or is there something in the meta that makes the repeated dmg?

Give the grenade contrail the burning fuel thing from the flamethrower too. Maybe give the grenade a different appearance so that it seems it has a flame tank attached to it.

I'm not sure, ttry it. But thats probably the best theng you can do (if it works) and maybe it'll set the cheif on fire too...

No such luck, I am baffled at what makes the dmg hit you repeatedly, I tried looking at teh xml and opening the metas in hex workshop for all the dmgs a couple of effects and the flame proj...

Wait a second. Are you tryin to have a burning flaming grenade? Umm. If so tis easy. Heres how!

1. Open Halo Map Tools V3

2. Open the level are are editing

3. Go under Particles.

4. Swap weapons\plasma grenade\plasma grenade armed ( Right at bottom )

5. With effects\particles\flash\burning flame

6. Effects are really cool lookin! I'll show u an example of what looks like. See the pic b4 my bandwidth runs out :D

Now u want the Plasma to explode fire.

1. Open Halo Map Tools V3

2. Open the level are are editing

3. Go under Particles.

4. Swap weapons\plasma grenade\effects\explosion

5. With weapons\flamethrower\effects\burning

6. Or atleast I think :?:

Not close, but thanks for the try. I already know ALL about the particles and my best thing right now (btw I'm using frag) is a frag with no explosion particle system and a nozzleflame particle for the drifting smoke. And an editted dmg, but I will try the second half of what you said with the burning effect, I think I tried it but better safe than sorry.

Doesn't work, but I do think the burning effect is what makes the burning, however I don't know how to make it do what I want.

what he wants is to have the grenade launch flame thrower flame out, so it will stick to you and burn, just like the flame thrower does...im not capable of figureing this out right now, but trust me...ill think about it all day tommorow for you.

Actually I really just want anything that will at least make the dmg continue for abit like the flame dmg is, but making the flame particles be there would be even better, I'm personally baffled at this point in time.
