bombs dropping on map idea

got an idea, make it so that some weapon items, like when you pick it up, are rockets or something. for example, swap the plasma nade equipment for a rocket projectile, and if that works, move the spawn points above the level and have periodic bombs drop over the map. or do it some other way. i think that would be cool to have bombs dropping everywhere, only prob is, how would you do it without using up every weapon in the map. someone give it a try, and see how it goes.

yea bg, but i can do it easy, but it only bombs very repeatedly in the same spots. u try and get it to bomb more randomly if you want, that would be cool.

I get an exception error. Did you change equipment or itemcollection?

equipment. i find that you can change the equipment objects to just about anything that takes a physical form in the game, sometimes with odd results.

I have been using this type of swapping for a mod ill be releasing soon, but if you want them all not to fall at once, swap the nade equipment, they spawn in succsession instead of at the same time. If you use the right projectiles you can get a sweet mod going. :wink: I'll show you all what I mean when my mod is out.

what about duplication, can u duplicate the weapon spawns or increase/decrease the respawn time?

Someone could probably make a plugin to change item collection times and spawns and such.

im sure someone could, but i doubt any one will, just because there are more important plugins out there aht are needed to be made.

like what, duplication and respawn times seem pretty important to me

yyyeeaaaahhhh.... sorry didnt read that correctly, my big thing is duplication copy paste in sparkedit, spawn times could be usful i just dont see it as important. i know i had more ideas, its just early at school gonna fall asleep
