omg this f*cking sucks
while i was trying to unlock my xbox hd
i acidently locked my windows hd, NOOO!
can some one get me a trusted program for unlocking a hd?
or at least give me a link to the program.

Ok, I can help you here.
Basically, you have set the Bios of your PC to set the Hard Drive to Read Only. All you need to do is go to your motherboard manufacturers, get the latest BIOS flash, and flash the BIOS. That should work.
I must state also, that I claim no responsibility of what happens with you flashing your BIOS, as you can destroy the Motherboard if you do it wrong.

is it like a program?
cause i cant get in my computer...
the only hd i had was windows xp and thats the one i locked

Then go on another PC, get it from the net on that one, then put that hard drive in your current PC as the master, and then flash the Bios.
Then, put the other hard drive as master again and see what happens.
