Will I be able to use hek with xbox maps?

no, it is being made from halo pc, but im sure someone will make some sort of converter to use some of its power.

hey im lookin for the sapien design kit i heard somethin about it but dont really understand wut it is and when its comin out, and now im lookin at this HEK thing, and its supposed to have SDK and other stuff in it, so wut is this HEK a big ass map making program or something???

im sorry to burst your bubble but halo for xbox will never be able to accept new maps without serious recoding. this is why...they never planned for it to accept new maps, xbox live was just in the early development stages when halo was made, they did not expect content download. because of this the game is not set up to accept new material..it is, if you will, out of its envrionment. that is why we cant rebuild maps, as of now, for xbox, and we cant add any brand new things, only things that are in game...or things that can be manipulated. again, sorry for the inconveinence...lol.

Unless you use the tool Gearbox used to open and edit the HaloXBox maps.

gearbox did that for pc...not to import it back to xbox, however you might be able to do it to exbox if you copy the entire game to your hdd, but i dotn think that will work either...lol
