How do I use a PPF?

I have no idea how to use a PPF. I use PPF-O-MATIC v3 but i dont know what a "CD Image" is. I really need some help!

where it says CD Image just use the drop down and change it to all files.
im assuming your using this to patch a map soo..
Open POM
Change CD Image to "All Files"
Select your map file
Where it says patch just select your patch and hit apply!
Now your map is patched

im confused is this to make a ppf file or insertin the ppf file into the map?

a .ppf is just a "patch" that will apply mods to a normal map... I have written a tutorial on how to do this
