i was wondering if its possible to change the reflection of the water in the b30 map (silent cartographer) into a real time reflection such as the reflection on the glass floor in the room that you need to activate the panel to open the door that the covenant locked.

Impossible, Water Shaders cannot function to Real-Time reflections. You have to create a new glass shader and re-STRUCTURE the map, aka not-possible unless it's a new map.

Only possible in CE. Most likely won't work in converting to PC either, because it's a shader matter which doesn't work most of the time[/dumbanswer]

shaders work all the time, yes the quality may be lower but they still work.

For real-time reflections, you guys are out of luck. Like I said, the Halo Engine has to actually re-structure the map from the source to discover the exact locations of the cluster of where the mirror is placed. The portals also come in handly in this, as it seperates the view-points for the real-time reflection.

It just isn't possible, unless you want to dig through the code of a map for a whole month, searching and searching for the correct values, THEN re-structuring the map again which isn't possible unless you have the maps source.
