HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok so i downloaded some mod files from gamespy and i dont know what to do now. they do not self install or have read me files so what do i do?

what typed of files are they? if there are ppf's get HHHT, if they are .map files, just replace the original map with the modded map.

I new at this and need some help
