just a gun that they never used in the game, they left it in

it was a covie weapon that they were gunna have in halo on xbox, but they took it out but left the data in the game. it shoots flamethrower projectiles, but it does not look like flames because the flames you see are really an effect is not part of the projectile, something that the flamer references but the grav rifle doesnt. when they ported halo to pc the grav rifle came with it. it would make a cool weapon if someone could figure out how to fix the skin on it that isnt placed right. then make a cool projectile for it.

The shape of the Grav rifle reminds me of the Covie assault rifle from Halo 2. Do you think maybe there's a completed GR in Halo 2? Maybe not the Covie AR but perhaps some other new Covie weapon?

uhh, i think the grav rifle was the covey opposite of the flame thrower, cause the ARs was the plasma rifle
