2 choices....

PMI the tree it references into the map, or... find tree.txt (in your root
directory i think) and delete it.

Cant find my notes on ther missing tree, so hopefully someone else who
knows exactly where the file is located can add to this, or just go ahead
and PMI the teree in. You'll still get the message, but then it adds the tree
in and the maps ok.

OR, once I release the PMI Tools beta containing vehicle rebuild (all i have is weapons so far :P) then it'll just be entering the map name and choosing the folder, oh yea and clicking 'Compile'. XD Then you won't get any HMT dependency errors.

soads its not the vehicle, its the map sidewinder, all you have to do is go to the depenedency it references is, i think its like levels\test\sidewinder\scenery or something

and edit one of the xml files and youll notice that theres 2 '\\' in the filename just delete one, save, rebuild

I thought it was in the 'vehicles\wraith' folder that has an xml file referring to a dependency outside of that folder, which he probably did not include in rebuilding the map. So the real problem can be identified by the referring xml file. HMT will say the depency that was not found (referred to file) and what was referring to that file (pmi-ed folder xml file). I recommend doing a windows search of the folder using the search: 'A word or phrase in the file' then typing in the location that HMT gives of the tree scenery. Once you find the xml file(s) containing those lines, delete the strings of that dependency without corrupting the other dependencies.

or just include the tree in the rebuild....

But then it might try looking for an xml referred to by the tree

EDIT: wait... *thinks*

No, it happened to me on sidewinder first time I tried to PMi that map. I
followed the reference to the tree location and added it to the rebuild.
problem solved. :) you get the pop up message but then the tree is
added in during the rebuild and the maps ok.

(I didn't know about the xml edit back then ) So if you can PMi, but not edit the xml, just add the tree in.
