New vehicles. How is this done?

I am remodeling/redesiging everything in Sidewinder, from the bitmaps to the models. Everything (unless I see it fit for the project all ready). I wanted to add a few new vehicles in it, like the Snow Hog, Carrier Hog, Spectre, that sort of stuff.

Now I heard this can only be done in HaloCE but wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask. If so, is there a way I could convert the completed HaloCE vehicle into HaloPC?

Well I have the vehicle models already made (did em myself :D ). And I'm in the middle of other stuff right now, but when the time comes, I want to be able to get new vehicles in Sidewinder instead of replacing them.

Okay. Ill first put them into CE and then see what happens because I dont know how to rip. Thanks for the input.

I dont feel the need to make a new topic so I will post a second, off-topic question here...

Okay, look at these pics and think of whats really wrong (I know the sky is wierd, I haven't gotten around to fixing that yet):

If you noticed, in the above pictures, is Sidewinder. The surroundings of the objects (vehicles) in the pictures is an orangish red. Now, the reflection on the objects is white. How do I change the lighting so that it is not like that?

The multipurpose bitmaps sets the reflectivity.

Oh okay, I see. Thank you.
:)

EDIT:
Sorry to continue to bother but I gott another problem I can't figure out. This picture is of the Blood Gulch red base. The edition is the night setting, the fog, the crashed Pelican and stranded Vehicles (needs fixing yet). The Multicolor ground is not suposed to be there, but it is. I don't know how it got there and I cannot seem to find any Multicolor Bitmap in BloodGulch. What is the problem?

I don't know, but I've seen that happen before in modded maps too. I don't know if you can fix it.

The "rainbow" ground is a lightmap problem?

I dunno.

eh, its most likely a corrupted bitmap

Any idea how I might go about fixing it. I'd rather not lose this file but if I must, I'll re-install.

EDIT: Nvm. I fixed the problem by reinstalling. Got impastient and restarted. I wasnt too far into the project anyway.

Wow wtf?

(I know what your thinking, "Not this guy again!")

I PMIed the crashed Pelican from 343GS into Blood Gulch. Worked fine. PMIed the crashed Appiration from 3d3GS into Blood Gulch. Worked fine again. I PMIed the Wraith from AotCR into Blood Gulch and got the "Gathering Exception Data" error message. What did I do. I tried to PMI it again but it's still giving me the problem. What should I do?

If you wanna go into completely customizing a new sidewinder with new vehicles, I highly recommend you don't rip, there will always be a flaw with the end result.

I didnt. I did a PMI onto Bloodgulch with the Wraith from AotCR and I got an exception error. I've PMIed a few other objects with complete success but this one is giving me a repeated hard time.

Hm, I haven't done PC modding for ages, but I think there is a slight fraud with the wraith, not too sure. Try PMI'ing it from another map.

And to respond...
I quote myself:
Onetoomanysodas wrote:Once I release the PMI Tools beta containing vehicle rebuild (all i have is weapons so far :P) then it'll just be entering the map name and choosing the folder, oh yea and clicking 'Compile'. XD Then you won't get any HMT dependency errors.
For PMI-ing wraith into a new map, this program will include/exclude the necessary/un-needed files for the rebuilding of a wraith and all other sp vehicles. The problem you may be having is some missing xml files that refer to dependencies that don't exist after duplicating to mp map. I hope i explained that right? o_O

But yea, PMI Tools I hope will benefit all these people having problems such as this.

I'm pretty sure you explained right cuz it definatly confused the hell outta me.

Okay. Your saying that when I PMI-ed the Wraith, it left behind XML files needed for it to function on a Multiplayer Map? I think...
