how do you make a ppf?

i have just fineshed making v1.0 of my mod NOShogs and i need to know how to make a ppf for the mod.
i need one for the skins and another one for the actual changes.
i am about to go out to a barbecue now so i wont be able to get back to you till tomorrow.
so plz tell me how to make a ppf?

Ugh, go read the tutorials before you start making posts. Theres a tutorial that tells you exactly how to do it.

Get PPF Studio
This is a PPF tutorial by BOLL
How to make a .ppf
Extract PPF Studio somewhere you want it.
Run it.
PPF file (Output):
Choose what your PPF is going to be names
Patch description:
Add a comment if you like (good!)
File_id.diz:
Not sure why you would want that...
Next two options are not necissary, but you could use them if you like.
PPF Creation Control:
Just open your original cache and the patched/modified cache.
Click "Create PPF-patch"
Done.

actually, i dont understand how to do this, can u tell me in detail plz?
whats the original and patched file thing?
and what is 'your original cache and the patched/modified cache'?
it says that its optional but it doesnt let me create without doing it, and then they have to be the same size meaning that it wud have to be the same file then it wont create one cause its the same!
what am i doing wrong?
im a n00b to this.

The original file is the unmodifed halo map file. The other file is the modified halo map file. You'll also need to set a path & filename for it to output the PPF patch too.
