Is there anyway I can change the accuracy of a weapon? I want to make the AR more accurate and less erratic. And yes I am new to this.

Edit: Also if someone could explain to me how to change the rate of fire on a weapon that would be cool too.

In Halo Map Tools v3, both these settings can be changed in the weapons category, they are down the bottom.

The option for accuracy is called spread, which you should set to 0 for insane accuracy (you may have to extend the bottom of the application to see it fully).

Rate of fire is simply called ROF (minimum and maximum).

Hope that helps...

Okay anytime I try to run that program it gives me an error. An idea why it would do this?

Just to add, Minimum rof is the speed without holding the trigger aka the beginning speed, Maximum is the speed while holding the trigger aka final speed.

Anytime I try to run map tools it gives me the error:

The Application failed to initialize properly (oxc0000135). Click on ok to Terminate the application.

Is there something I am missing?

There is a little scroll menu with the word projectile next to it. Click on that and choose the number that you want. Guns with 2 or more numbers have 2 or more seperate shots. Mainly just vehicles and the plasma pistol have this.

He means that some weapons like tank for example have 2 guns, the cannon and the machine gun, so there will be more than 1 number to select from in the drop down menu... lol
