hey guys, I need some help with basic hacking, because as far as I know, its impossible right now. I can't delete a file in my Halo map file and replace it with a modded one because when I open halopc, theres 6 file cabnets. Right now I'm trying to get the sentinel beam as a weapon like in the HMT3 tutorial. Im on the last step, which is putting the modded bloodgulch.map to replace the one in the map folder, so I go into Cabnet 2 where bloodgulch.map is but theres no delete button... =?

If you're in the Cabinent stuff then you're on the CD buddy.

Ok, take the rebuilt map (bloodgulch.map.reb or whatever) and copy it to your Halo PC folder (default is C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo/Maps). Delete bloodgulch.map. Rename the rebuilt map to bloodgulch.map (yes, type ".map") and enjoy.

It still doesn't work. The plasma pistol doesnt shoot a sentinel beam

If it helps the sentinal lazer isnt that great. One, there is no aim so you kind to geuss, and I don't think it does much damage. It is cool haveing inf ammo, but it's still not good enough.

Well, I can't get the plama nuke to work, but I wont complain about that until I'm absolutly sure I'm doing it right.

im pretty sure u can adjust the damage and if u use it on a weapon {edit} as a projectile {edit} like the ar then aim isnt to much a problem.

No, there is no weapon. It's like MC with laser vision. (Guess you could change projectile instead of weapon, but then you would have to reload)

Also, half the time you can't see the laser it's really odd seeing the convent fall over for apparently no reason.

Why are there so many spammers here? And Elf I suggest tryin to reinstall Halo and start over. Sometimes u make a mistake somehow and delete sumtin accidentally. Good luck..
