Can't get mods working on Halo Mac

Wow, it's been a couple months since I was last here, so much growth! The memberlist has like 20 pages now. Yipes.
So anyhow, I got Halo Mac for Christmas and since my Xbox isn't fixed yet I decided to play around with it. Using good ol' HexEditor, I discovered that the offsets and values are the same for the Mac as they are for the PC! So I figured, great, I'll just find the pistol projectile value, and replace it with that of the tank cannon. Sadly, it just crashes my game.
Anyone have any success hacking Halo Mac? I got the offsets off of forge.halomods.com, so I assume they're reliable. Am I just doing something wrong, or did the makers just make the game unhackable?

ive been having halo hacking troubles too, but tonight im about to try to have a hack halo pc on a server and play on it, and see if they work.

lol i shouldent talk that much cuz right now im on a mac at school
but yea they do suck especally these ones at school they have like no ram whatsoever so when i open up 2 pics or go 2 haloskins it freezes lol

It seems that the site doesn't HAVE a Halo Mac forum. In the meantime, this one is the closest thing. Give the guy a break.

Well, they make Office for macs. And I think Virtual PC, now, too.
So *no one* has had any luck? That's disappointing...

Why shouldn't there be a Mac section? Just because some idiot thinks it's not cool to like Macs? Some community.
Personally, I think this section would do fine with PC and Mac users together, as long as people could remember to specify what platform they're talking about in their posts.

you know what i hate hal? i hate it when people use numbers instead of letters because they are too lazy, there are times when im too lazy to breathe, yet i still use letters, i dontuse punctuation, cause that is too much extra, but at least i use letters.
