depends what it is, if its a nade then it just has a life span, just put the number low enough to blow up when it hits the ground. but other stuff im not sure.

NO!!! grenades you would have to set the splode delay to 0 or something really small, so as soon as it touches the ground it splodes. as for other projectiles swap the effect of it hitting things with the effect of explosives hitting. i think that should work.

i mean when the projectile has no weight or speed, it doesnt hit the ground, it just hovers. how do i make it so it still impacts?

you have to add some speed, it has to hit something in order for the trigger to go...hmm...ill try to tinker with it, but you need to also, im not going to solve your problem for you.

yea i know i have been messing around with it for quite some time now. i think it has to do with something in the trigger damage meta like you said. thx though. i was thinking it would be cool to have a plasma connon that fired like three mines total for defensive purposes. wouldnt want it to be too powerful.

If you, say, make the plasma grenades float as said before, would they stick to the person if they ran into it?

i would think so but i just tried it again and it does not work. when you walk towards the person as you fire them, they float slowly and then attach, but if you just stand still and shoot them, they hover in one spot, and when someone walks into them, they just go right through the person. i was messing around with damage triggers and i got nowhere. what exactly does a damage trigger do?
