i was wondering about mod that would help the makers of the most wonderfull online series ever!!! RED VS. BLUE thier site

ok heres my idea the idea is have one person usually the camera guy have his weapon shield and heath meters invisible i mean completly non-seeable i think this would help them cause they wouldnt have to cut them out and just leave the movies full screen[/url]

I dont know if its possible for just one person to have no hud, but instead just have the camera man have a grav rifle, no weapon, aimer or idle annimation.

wats a grav rifle? but isnt it possible that u can kinda select wat controller port or profile has no hud or something like that

no u only have one game modded since its visual

not to butt in but, hey shouldnt this be in the xbox forum? and a grav rifle is a weapon that has no first person model, no animation, no ammo, and no hud, youd still need to take off the shield and health hud though. the grav rifle was never finished and never added. go put this in the xbox forum.

ive already made a no hud mod.. i could do it for pc if anyones interested...?

I think in some article I read the redvsblue guys specifically decided against using any kind of modding for their show. They wanted to conquer the challenge of filming in halo as-is. They viewed the modding as sort of "cheating". So I doubt they would accept something like this even we did do it.

ya, I talked to Geoff(grif) awhile ago about using a no hud mod I made for rvb, he told me to email burnie(church) because he is in charge of that stuff, but geoff told me they would most likley not use a mod like that because they "enjoy working withen the limitations of the game" so i emailed burnie and he never contacted me.

i did put it in the xbox forums and no one answered and ok i guess they want to keep that way and thats their decesion but....

You can several ways... Easiest is to edit the HUD bitmaps...

They did some kinda shading, to make it look like he was different colour, it was explained somewhere, can't remember... they did a good job of it
