AI, but no AI (Please Read)

Heh, sound funny? Well, I added AI to multiplayer by swapping dependencies of the seats in the warthog, but the driver wont drive anywhere, they only shoot at you if you shoot at them AND I cant get the marines on my team. the only thing that works right is when i put an Elite in a Banshee (that sucker is hard to kill).

I dont need a lengthy explanaitionary tutorial on this, I know HMT and HHT and a little HEX pretty well so if someone could just tell me what I'm doing wrong I'd appreciate the help. :D[/b]

Maybe even a link to a TUT on making AI do something? Or at least adding them right.

I looked in the Tutorials, didnt find anything except how to add ai in CE by using sapien and guerilla. I meant by using HMT and HHT maybe even hex. Thanx for any help.

you have to flip the vehicles over in sparkedit (delete the collision of the vehicle also so it doesnt crush the AI) and marines cant be on your team

that sucks, cause I already did all of that to death Island... but can you give A.I waypoints so they dont just stand around and wait for you to shoot at them? I want them to move like they have a purpose (like in campaign)

are you in SP or Multiplayer?

Marines, grunts and Jackles cant drive anything, except marines in ghosts
elites can drive banshees, and ghosts.
if you want an elite to drive something it wont, change the seat to Bdriver.

MP, man thanx, I'll try that now. I'll even see if it works to rename the warthog's seat to G-driver.

Bdriver should make an Elite drive any vehicle, where-as Gdriver would work for marines..... :)

it only works in single player...in MP they, AI, arent programmed for the netcode. therefore they will shot and dodge, but not move around. I just want a plugin that will make them seek and find enemies. OHhhhh I cannot wait for Prometheus. :)

When I get it to work man, I'll let you know :)

If you shoot them in MP, they will follow you ;)

its funny if you go through a portal :shock:

oh dip...ur online sweet! I spawned them in banshees and they worked just fine... tooo well in fact. I got marines, and everything and now im adding a drivable longsword with coll model and AI flying it around. :)
