Hosting Daily AotCR Multiplayer Games!!!

Post by Havoc101 »

From henceforth, I'm going to be hosting daily Assault on the Control Room Multiplayer games from between 8:00pm EST to ~12:00am EST.
The ip address is 192.168.1.100:2302
You MUST have the map already. If you don't the map won't load properly for you, and you'll be kicked about a minute into the game. Also for those of you who don't have the map, it can be found at:

No one will be able to direct ip to join anything starting with
192.168.X.XXX these are reserved for internal network addresses. E.G. I
have a Mediasite Live unit on 192.168.0.100 on my network.

Also,if you haven't hosted a game before and you're behind a router /
firewall, you will need to forward the required ports (2302 & 2303) to your
gaming machine.

go here it will give you your current IP address on the net.

EDIT* . if you click the "it sees your ip address" link on the page, you can
also get your internat speed connection info, so you know how many
players max you can handle.

Ok. thanks, I'll try to log on tonight.

Just looking at your speed numbers, what type of connection do you
have? My connection reads 1820.Kbps (217.33Kbps) at the moment. but
my building is part of the Cityplace fibreoptic Net in Toronto, so I don't
think this is normal. I don't have a cable modem, we just plug directly into
the buildings network ports.

Have a quick check on the multiplayer game setup menu for how many
players it recommends as max for your speed connection.
