NADE activation HELP needed!

I have been working on plasma nades and I have a clear understanding on setting detonation timings using HMT. e.g. The hi velocity nades fired from my sniper rifle will detonate instantly on striking a viable target, or ricochet at sniper ammo speed for 1.5 seconds before detonating if fired into a cave or base.

I now also have the settings to "drop" a plasma nade that floats slowly to the ground and will not explode for say, 30 seconds or 10 minutes, whatever is required.

Problem:
If the floating nade does not hit a viable target first , and touches the ground, it will not explode before timimg out even if a viable target makes contact with it.

Objective:
I would like to set an indefinite fuse time, but have the nade explode if contact with a viable target is detected.


Does anyone have any ideas on this? Any help appreciated.
