blowing up stuff Q

i was wondering how to make it so u can blow up a pelican or a covie dropship. can anyone help?

just give the drop ship or the pelican the collision model of a ghost, banshee or something else like that. Or to make it really easy, give it the collision model of a grunt or something.

i made it a ghost and it smoked and shot out sparks but it didnt blow-up and it flew fine. it did the same for the banshee. still not workin...

use that collision model plug in, you can disable your vehicle

probably not liek you want it to with the pieces of it flying all over considering there made just for the ghost and stuff

aight i put in the collision plug-in and changed the pelicans health to 1 and then switched it with a banshee and put the banshees health low (just incase). then i shot it and it didnt blow up and it flew away as usual...

putting it at a grunt it does fall down and crash but no explosions but if u still cant stand those d*** things gettin away after shootin u, its nice to bring them down and a couple shots and then melee then ships hull and scream "HA", what ive always wanted to do is change the guilty sparks collision down but he still doesnt fall probably cause hes like cinimatic or something. dont know oh well.

i took one down before cause i made the AR shoot wraith mortars so i just unloaded on it and it came down then it just disapeared after a while but there wsas no smoke or explosion

unless u tried i really think it would work for the banshee, just try it on the level Halo, i think this will work better than the ghost b/c the banshee is actually flying like the dropship and the ghost is not but i could just be half retarded too.

yea but what im sayin is it wouldnt look right exploding if it were to really explode cause you would have banshee pieces flying off a pelican or a dropship

back in the days of seein rare videos of xbox halo modding i did see someone most likly boll make it explode and fall, im sure that he just did the banshee, and i bet itll look good b/c the hull of the dropship and the banshee are the same material and pieces flyin off would look fine i would think.

lol yea i did it in the level halo to the covie dropship. but in silent carto i tried to do it to the pelican that drops u off at the very beginning but it wouldnt explode. i have no clue y

probably because the pelican never could explode the only time it does is in the maw and thats a special model, u can look at it, its called like pelican crash or something, u might beable to remake sc and inject that in there though.

You're wrong man, it doesn't even explode because Microsoft was lazy at the time. It's just a cinematic Pelican flying downward.
