Suicide system, exploding head!

its part of one of my mods. instead of a flash light your head explodes. its ment to be used as a last line of defence, or if you are close to someone and about to die or you are about to get splatterd.
simply hit the slash light button and your dead, as well as anything within 6 meters of you.

That would only be possible in CE. This is a good mod, 8/10. I have to ask, how did you do it?

I don't know about that, usually effect swaps don't change anything like this.

Swap an effect with an explosion, you'll notice a difference.

tha6ts all i did. i just bound the tank shell explotion to the flashlight. thats why its your head that explodes.

yes, there's a flashlight effect, that creates the "sound" of the flashlight turning on. I'm not sure why Bungie didn't just make it a sound, but oh well.
And for the brain splatter effect, you could use re-textured flood chunks.

Bungie couldn't have made it JUST a sound, because in it's tag properties, all there is, is a Flashlight effect. Not a flashlight sound...

I wasnt able to replicate this using HMT. The closest I got was replacing the flashlights beam with the light of a tankshell explosion. Having it eminating from the players head. (whoaa thats bright! - Now THATS a halo!)
But no actual explosion, did anyone else manage to do this?
Am I looking under the right tab? [light] cyborg\flashlight
Do you think it would be possible to attach features other than exploding heads to the flashlight button, like invisibility or overshield?
If you've managed any of this, let us in on how!
