I want to give the Shade's projectiles area damage or whatever, so, for example, if I shoot it right next to me it hurts me. I tried messing with the min and max range and the damage IDs but didn't come up with anything.
I'm still a n00b, I know.
And no, I don't wanna just replace the projectiles with the Wraith's or anything.
Giving a projectile area damage/making it 'explode'...

i don't think you can change that...Infininja wrote:I want to give the Shade's projectiles area damage or whatever, so, for example, if I shoot it right next to me it hurts me. I tried messing with the min and max range and the damage IDs but didn't come up with anything.

K, well if anyone comes up with anything.
More stupid questions.
Is there any way to make a certain projectile not destroy a vehicle, but only the driver?
And can I make the Wraith pilotable by MC?
Another thing, is it possible now, or is anyone working on making it possible to have copies of the same projectile? For example, could I have a Wraith shot coming from my shade doing 9999 damage, and the same-acting Wraith shot coming from the Wraith with 100 damage?

For the wraith thing, there is a better way to do it. You can swap it out w/ the warthog but u have to change the 0 seat name to w-driver. but anyway what i was going to say is on a level w/ the wraith just go to vehicles, on the bottom pulldown menu under the wraith click 0 then where is says seat name, just change that to w-driver. when u get in the game the elite that is driving the wraith is actually standing on top of it so now u can just shoot him off and jump inside and beable to shoot the wraith projectile and fly her around. Shooting it with accuracy takes a bit of practice, doesnt shoot how u would think.
Thanks, revealing some oddness to possibly work around, but cool.
So, my neverending questions continue. Bumping was mentioned, I haven't seen this done on the PC version, how would I do it?
Oh, BTW, the rockets home in on Wraiths now that the Elite is sticking out the top. I would guess it has something to do with 'MC Invisible' being checked on the Wraith and unchecked on the Banshee and Ghost.
