Longer names...

Before you say "This has been posted before," at least answer my question...
Well, I have been looking at the ui.map file (this would be in hex editor), and I wanted to know if it's possible to change the maximum number of characters in the character profile's name...
If you could tell me it would be awesome, if you could tell me how, it would be better.

Well, I don't know if it was a modder or some at Gearbox that said it, I think Gearbox, but they said that much of Halo's code relied on the length of the name, for whatever reason, and changing it would require a lot of re-coding.

yep, they said that
when they were releasing the 1.03 patch...they said it was delayed so much because one of the new features was longer chat-message length, and longer room name
which required much re-coding to be done
