Mod idea: Warthog Radio

Would it be possible to replace the Warthog's engine noise with music files in .wav format, possibly the funny polka music from RvB, or songs from the Halo soundtrack? That'd be damn cool. I tried it once, but HMT kept telling me the audio format was invalid....

uh.... doesnt the sound file for the hog have to replace the engine sound... which is just a short loop... so the new file would have to match the length of the short engine loop.... and do u c what im getting at? the new sound cant be too long... unless there's a way to get around that. i stopped actually modding when HCE came out... i've just started to take up sig making...

i was thinkin bout that earlier, try getting some small bits of music(LEGALLY and dont blame me if u did somthing else) and d/l them to ur media player and transfer them and cut them to the same length of the engine loops and switch them.

It has to be a .ogg file or something like that to import into HMT

Hmm... I thought someone did this a long time ago. Just for fun you know. Kinda looped a short bit of the song over and over... Maybe I'm mistaken. Been awhile since I've been here. Even longer since I've even made a mod :)

you can make music start to play whenever you enter the warthog or something like that. making it loop is something i haven't figured out.

Does injecting work with that too? I thought you needed a special Codec?
