I am fairly new to modding, the only modding I know are the offset things, so thats an start...
Does anyone know if there is an 3rd person view mod is available, or if it can be done?
For ex.: when you die, you see yourself in 3rd person, or when you enter/get off an vehicle you see yourself in 3rd person view before you go into FirstPerson.
Can it be done?
Again, I am new to modding so I don't know...

doubt it. u would probably need a whole new game engine

I wouldn't think though because whenever you drive something its in 3rd person.
so couln't you use that for starters.

ya ive seen some mods where the passenger seat of the hog is in 3rd person. so it can be done for vehicles but i don't think for the entire game...

Couldn't you just change camera tracks?

The only thing I can is Offsets...
Or is that possible with Offsets???

Just change all views in vehicles and anything possible to 3rd person, not 1st with HMT3.

sorry guys 3rd person won't work, although you can change the camera tracks for the vehicles the mc's camera track is hard coded into the game ie: you can't change it
although there may be ways around it...

Could you make a vehical that was invisible and had the same controls and moves as the mc so you would appear t be normal

might work. Check the "uses mc weapons" box, invisi, same running animation as the cheif, might work. someone try.

i think it is possible to switch to 3rd person view... any thing is pssible we just need to know how to do it
