Installing Halo PC mods

This may b already asked, but I don't see it.
I downloaded the Winchester 1300 mod, but I have no idea how to make it work. A little help?

!N00BS!
Backup your original halo map located in C:\\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS\ and then copy and paste the new map into that directory and replace the existing map. If the file is a PPF download ppf-o-matic 3.0

Open that and then where it says ISO image browse to the original map, when it asks for the Patch below that, browse to the *.ppf file that you downloaded and click apply.

but all I got is a dds file and a obj file. what do I do with those?

get HMT from the files forum.
go to bitmaps, and replace which ever bitmap with the dds file
go to models, and inject the model over whichever model

You know what? I don't even care anymore cuz I only have a trial version. Note to mods: Delete this forum
