Easy way to get an energy sword

Swap the model of a weapon with the energy sword's model

Change that weapon's hud to the gravity rifle's hud

Change all the Ammo stuff to 0

Increase the chosen weapon's melee damage to 1000

There u should have an energy sword that u can only melee with. Tell me if it works or not

i tried swaping the model of the energy sword with the pistol and got an exception error

ps: the energy sword has a damage of 151, with a force of 2.5

shouldn't u make it explosive too?
so it can go through hunters armor, make people fly, etc when hit? (or would this just kill you.
or possibly make it stick plasma grenades to the bodies when hit (or walls), to add insult to injury, or something like that?

i was under the impression that it was a one shot kill, like hitting to the back of the head. i thought it was scripted, even when you change collision models, you still die from a shot to the back of the head.

did anyone get this to work?

Well, let's see.... The only one that I know of that works on its own is Plasma Pistol fp. After that, it gets pretty evil.

Anyways, have any of you'll played the 2 Betrayals mod? Supposively there's a usable plasma sword somewhere in there, but I haven't found...yet.

iv played the 2 betrayals mod and it has an energy sword sort of. you pick up the plasma rifle i think and u melee people with it. Its got some different sounds but u cant see the blade.
