ok i just downloaded sparkedit and hmt and i was just wondering if any of you could tell me how to make it work and how to make modded maps.....from the begining that is.....meaning right after i download it what do i do? im new at all this i normally just play another game called runescape but now i wanna start hosting my own halo servers with mods because i got hacked on other game..... but please if anyone can talk me threw it on msn messanger or aim or even threw e-mail please post here so you can help me out and you gotta talk me threw it as if i was 5yrs old or ill be asking you questions for years cause im new to all this programming stuff and as i just said i just downloaded sparkedit and hmt cause someone told me thats what i needed.......i didnt even extract it yet because i dont know where to extract it to so start from where i must extract it and then go on telling me how to make different mods and stuff on a map........

ok here you go... you start by:

DOING YOUR OWN DIRTY WORK
if u just read the manuals posted at this website and READ (omg, yes you have to read) other ppls questions that got help on... and another thing that might help you is, becoming computer literate. so many ppl now want to mod, but dont know how to open up the program(*cough* *cough*)...one you know how to get it goin, then read the posts and manuals and tutorials. not that hard. if u cant extract it...then just get winrar, that will do the trick.

if u need a tut, i've posted on a few of em where to go and what to do, so please go read some of these posts first. its not like you have to read them from back in july...

ok dude i dont need your fucking lip im not all that computer illiterate man i figured out how to do most of the stuff on sparkedit already and i learned how to make a server with all the changes ive man but i dont know how to add cheats like max ammo or something like that into it because stupid hmt3.5 isnt working and im just trying to see how i would go about getting it to work and if you dont know how to tell ppl how then go suck your dads cock you p.o.s.

sorry about that for all the other ppl again all i need to learn is how to get hmt to freaking work i cant even get it to extract or if i do get it to extract they say something isnt right or something when i open it plus i just want to know how i would go about adding cheats and stuff like max ammo never have to reload plasma stuff and fuel rod and flame thrower never over heat and stuff like that but also i need some help with 1 thing on sparkedit i have all the stuff i want on there but how do i make more teleport origin things and teleport places (meaning i need to know how to add in things that when you walk over a certain place you get teleported to another place.....they are under the edit of mp flags or something like that

as i said again... there are tuts everywhere...u might want to look around. you know...using ur curser and clickin on topics that other ppl posted and reading them. cuz i know what you are asking for is already posted. and i'm sorry to hear about you and your dads relationship, thats not right. its good how you are venting about it in the forums

who cares if there are tuts everywhere, he is NEW to this thing. Don't yell at people just because they are asking for help. Or if you ever as for help, youwill be yelled at, and not helped.

I'll be happy to walk you through some basics (i have written a series of very n00bish tutorials) so you can follow it exactly

but why answer the same question when its been answered a million different times...all u have to do is look a few links below this one, and i'm sure you will find the same question or even the tut u are lookin for...

because he is new to this stuff and doesn't know EXACTLY what to look for yet, he jsut wants flat out basics. If you can find a tutorial stickied somewhere here that is describing all the parts of hmt, by all means, point it out. There are only specific related ones, not all.

ok...well he just has a problem w/ extracting...i say redownload it and try that....if u dont have winrar get it. its a suprnova.org, but u need a bittorrent first to d/l ne thing. when u get it goin, i'll post my tutorial then since u can find nething...
