HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i get this exception error everytime i try to start up halo pc...it happened after i tried to apply a mod with ...uh...sum program i dont wanna think abotu it i tried applyng a non modded map of it....didnt work please help me....

Open your drive set for your cd drive (with halo in it) and copy + paste over your folder with: map_name.map, ui.map, bitmaps.map, and sounds.map

thanks soo much...i dont really understand it though wut u mean by open up your cd drive and do u make a copy of the map and call it map_name or is that like for the map name...(ie bloodgulch,sidewinder etc ) sorry please dont flame

go to my computer, then watever drive u have halo in, right click it and explore and go to files cab, go threw there and copy bitmaps.map sounds.map ui.map and watever map u applied the mod to, might wanna just do all of em
now copy and paste them in your halo maps folder and overwrite all your old 1s, keep all names the same like bloodgulch.map bitmaps.map and all that and then it should work, if not t hen i reccomend reinstalling halo

er..i went to explore and all but i cant find files cab...wut is that?? sorry

never mind i found it i was looking in the wrong place

it didnt work... would it work if i get a new halo pc...(buy a new one) ?
