I know about the whole adding something in and then swapping out. I can get models into the levels perfectly, but I don't know how to add them into the game. Not swap with something else, but for example, instead of replacing all warthogs with a rocket hog, replace just one but the keep others the same.
I don't even know if this is possible. This is in SP by the way.
Any way to really ADD anything into a level?

If it is a vehicle or scenery:
1. Open sparkedit and load the map file
2. Go to tools, Import tag into scenario...
3. Select the Vehicle/Scenery and click ok.
4. Sparkedit might glitch and the vehicle/scenery will not appear in the list so click in empty space and then continue...
5. Click on the Edit tab on the right nav.
6. Under mode select Vehicles/Scenery and click on a Vehicle/Scenery with the selection tool.
6. The name of the object will appear under Object Properties: in the "Swap:" box.
7. You may choose to either duplicate the object or not. Next, select the new Vehicle/Object you want to import in the swap drop down list.
8. If you PMI'ed a Vehicle/Scenery from another map then you will first have to swap an already existing vehicle/scenery with it in HMT.
9. Save changes and test.
NOTE: If it is a weapon that you are trying to swap, it will not work because MP maps use the MP Equipment properties for weapons instead of the Weapons properties. So this makes swaping weapons in Sparkedit on MP maps impossible. The weapon must already be in the map.

open HMTDeus wrote:And what if it isn't a vehicle? What if it is a weapon?
go to a scenery piece
in the meta box, look at it's tag-types (they say stuff like "scenyyyyyy" or whatever)
write said value down
go to the desired weapon, write it's tag-type values down
change the tag for the weap to the scenery tag you wrote down earlier
go into spark edit
import the new gun with tag-importer
go back to HMT
change the weapon back to the tags it had earlier
go into Spark and place your gun
This method can be used to import any tag into a map.

These fractional multiplications curb the exponential growth of some Cuil calculations and recognize the fact that as things get weirder to us they also become more intensely real. http://cuiltheory.wikidot.com/mathematics-of-cuil
