Skinning Problem

OkI have a problem i downloaded a skin for Halo Pc but when i try to open it i get this error:

Error
C:\Documents and Settings\Jaylon\Local Settings\Temp\Rar$DI00.859\fire hog tires and rims.dds
This archive is either in unknown format or damaged.

Note i have repaired and redownloaded this skin many times and i also get the error message on all the other skins i download.

most of the stuff found here or rar filies maby you alread now about this
but if this is not the case then ull need winrar to open them

you dont open a .dds file in winrar, you import it with HMT

open desired map

select texture the dds will replace

hit 'import'

select the desired file

a .dds is NOT an archive file, it's a picture-file that can only be open with photoshop, and even then you need the right plug.
