elites and swords

I modded the pistol to shoot sword elites from flipped vehicles but the sword detonates after the elite is flipped out. Does anyone know a way to stop the sword from detonating after the elite is flipped out?

Well you're certainly a step ahead of me. I couldn't even get AI into multiplayer (guess I never really tried hard enough). You might wanna take a look in the tutorials section. One of the moderators managed to get a whole bunch of AI Elite Commanders with energy swords into Blood Gulch. Good luck!

Wait...So the elite spawns, then the car flips him out, then the sword explodes in his hand?

yeah, the elite is in the vehicle when you shoot him out cause I changed the vehicle physics to flip him out. After the elite is flipped out (kinda like how sometimes the warthog flips MC out when it overturns) his sword detonates. I dont know why but if you shoot against the wall, the elite sometimes flips ontop of you and actually carries the sword without it detonating.

what i really want to know is what is the swords maiin "thing" or code?? is it in the antr?>? or in what?

because the elite is not alive or dead...so the sword can't detect if he is alive, to the fail-safe goes off...
