Looks cool man, when do you plan to release it?

I just started. Its gonna take awhile cause i plan on making it super detailed. Its gonna be almost identical to halo 2. No funny lookin models or anything.

I'm not trying to critisize or flame, but why spend your time and work hard on a mod that is going to be similar to a game that comes out in less than a month?

It comes out on xbox on nov 9th. They never said anything about a PC version. That and i want it to be better then all the other halo 2 mods. I want it to be "the" halo 2 mod. So when somone says "the halo 2 mod" everyone knows its mine.

So how's the mod going? To plan?

So far i have the crosshairs done and im working on sounds. I have the smg sound in ok but the battle rifle is giving me probs. It imports fine but when i fire it the sound is just a fuzz

halo was not orginally planned fro PC. And after the reaction to HPC, microsoft would have to be COMPLETELY insane to not release it for PC. They probably will, they will just wwate for a few months after the XBOX release o help promote their console.

What I meant was halo is not coming out on pc right away. I know that it will eventually. Like you said, microsoft would have to be nutz to not release it for pc.

hpc got such a big reaction because online multiplayer was new to halo at the time. but now, since halo 2 will be on xbox live, not as many people will be as excited about i if they released it on pc. and secondly, i hope that they wait much longer than they did to release the original hpc, because they messed up a lot of things. for example, the jackals all have the same colored shields. sp lags sometimes, and they didn't import a lot of the textures, ex. the ar isn't as shiny and is missing the scratches etc. most, if not all of the problems in hpc will be fixed in h2. bungie just seemed too excited to release hpc and rushed through the production. h2pc would still be great, but not really as good as xbox. which is to be expected.
