Meta Calculating

How do you do meta calculations. I know your suppose to add 2f4 to the meta, and find the place to change the meta but how the **** do you add them togther.
Is there a Hexeditor that does this type of addition?

use hex editor and there is an option under tools called hex calc use that
Signature exceeded 75KB.
