HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hello all,

I am new at modding. In fact, I have no experience at modding whatsoever. I do have a few good ideas and I'd like to learn how to mod the weapons and create new maps so I can share them with the Halo community. If there is anyone out there who has the patience to help me get started, please let me know.

Well,the way most people learned(including myself)was trial and error.Go mess around with Halo Map Tools for a while.Make a backup first on the map you are about to mod.Try the map.If it doesnt work,try again.There are also alot of good tuts on this site to look at.But,if you need some help send me an IM.Im mostly on msn so try that.If not pm me.
