HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I just finished knave's Energy Sword tutorial and it worked fine. Sad thing is that the sword is white, and not glowly like in SP. (Yes, knave said his energy sword will be white) How do I go about making it glowy?

I was thinking something along the lines of the plasma grenade glowy stuff.

[edit] I managed to make the fp model look cool. zmap noise large bitmap or whatever. Still not what I want, though. And I cant seem to make the 3rd person model blue. Only change the handle :/

will my best guess would be to either mess with the shaders in hmt or use photoshop and make your bitmap/shader

Will i would say dont go with the norm and instead do something outrageous with the sword... Lets see someone do something origianl with the sword bitmap...(just something ive been waiting for for a long time)

where exactly is knaves energy sword tutorial? i keep messin the damned thing up...

Use the shader used for the Gun turret. It owns.
