There might be some serious mod shit u can do to do that. But ud have to mess with velotity and shit in ur mod program. U can check using Iron Forges Offset list and lookin at some shit to see if u can replace the speed of warthog. If i come across it myself ill let ya know

well, you could change the reverse speed to something way to fast, and make it a negative number. (so it goes back at, say, -6, which would be going forward)

ohh yea that is true, but i think that he wants something that is temporary and not something taht you can use all the time

I don't think that's even possible. From my experience Halo really doesn't like negative numbers. Or HMT just doesn't use them.

So simple, you make it so theres an explosion right behind the hog, forcing it forward, and take away all the damage.....

I suggest giving the hod secondary fire, duplicating the tank shell, remove its damage, then give the hogs 2ndry fire the new shell.

;) Look for ne tuts you need in my topic :p

EDIT - Oh, and remove the speed. One problem may be, however, that you go up, not forwards :s

follow the secondary-fire tutorial (in the files forum) to give the hog an alternate fire-mode.

duplicate the tank shell, give it no speed and lots of wieght so it falls straight down. Also kill the damage and reduce the shakienes, may also be dsireable to use HHT to remove the explosion effect or swap it for something wooshier. Now give the shell a half-second delay so it explodes behind you.

Finally, swap the new shell as the secondary fire and allow the driver to fire the gun.

Will i tried to use negative numbers for the reverse and what i got was hogs that would not stop... Immediately when i would enter, they would go on there own, even if i was not in the vehicle... It was quite hilarious when i watched them with higher speeds

ya, thats the disatvantage... I wish the hogs had like gears or something... they're to simple with just one gear, and they become to slow... maybe they'll do something like that in H2...

Why don't, you just go to damage select warthog trigger and make the force like 6 then your gunner can turn around, fire the weapon and then it will boost you.

Even better, copy the meta and xml of the banshee.weap over the warthog.weap's and go back and change them all back to warthog references except for the secondary fire, just change it's marker and change the projectile to the boost thingy. Then you can still shoot, and boost. It'd be better to set the speed to 0 and add a little bit of delay to the explosion so you won't have to turn around.

When you press the jump button while driving the hog stops, you could probably reverse this effect somehow, and adjust it to give you a boost.
