Complete Vehicle Invisibility (not just Active Camo)

Ok, for my next project, I'm going to attempt to make every vehicle in MP completely invisible. I already know how to give all vehicles perpetual active camo. Now I want them to disappear entirely.

Bring on the suggestions! 8)

if you give them the plasma shader of mc's shield, they'll be invisble when there not moving, but when they move the turn yellowish
it looks real cool

Yeah, that kinda defeats the purpose though...

I want them to be 100% invisible all the time.

easy...
just replace the vechicle shaders and some bitmaps to the active camo bitmap.

now tell me how you got perpetual camo (WITHOUT SWAPING WITH A GUN).

Replace the bitmaps with glass.

Ha. I did this so long ago in Hex Workshop. Just change the PC shader to the snipers contrail. It'll work all the time... or at least it did for me. I have an old pic of myself in the banshee somewhere... sir_zyn remembers this one

easy, replace the visible model with an empty file, and check the "mc invisible" box.

That way requires too much work :) My way is a simple offset swap

Do MC's shield from what Ang88 said, that sounds really cool .

lmao wish I could think of something like that! That'd be well funny, having some dude just readying up for a sniper shot and thinking like "ur so gonna die", then bam lol.

Replace with the contrail shader? That doesn't sound right...

Oh, and I just thought of something important. If we make the vehicles 100% invisible all the time, there will be no way to find them to get in them.

So I'm just sticking to the pertetual active camo thing.

u could export all the vehicle bitmaps and open them up in photoshop, then make a new image of the exact same size, check the transparent box in the new image window, and then copy the original image and paste it into the new image u made, wich should look like a black and white checkerboard. then click on history brush and brush over all of the copy of the original bitmap.

That's what the Infinite Grenades setting is for, just toss a few around and waatch for the crashes.
