Halo Map Size Question

I have a question, I am thinking about making a map, but when is the map too big. I am looking to make a map about the size of vice city. I am not making a Vice City map it is not even going to be a city. But that is about the size it would be.
Running with the flag will not work because it would take like 1 min. or so to reach the other end by running. So what I am wondering is how big is too big. There are going to be banchees so you can fly and hogs to travel by land.

vice city.....wat island surly u dont meen all of the islands....or do u?

I ment the size of Vice City, with all the islands included. But it will just be a flat surface and not different islands like Vice City is, but it is the full size of Vice City.

yea, like, if u had a tunnel instead of the open bridges or something. it would be a good map for warthog races hahaha

Hummmmm, u'd have to think about the lag a map like th@ would cause.

However, it sounds really good, specially if u had indoor and out door areas
