if people have played in the hangar you should of stopped wasting our time a long time ago and said so. then you would of showed us proof and i would of ended my topic.
I'VE even played in the hanger, although I never said it was loaded, or that I was in the POA....
id love to help you out with this in anyway i could but my prob is in spark edit when ever i look at big stuff per say the hangar it freezes up my whole comp and i get like 2 fps
it seems like it loads the hangar in the pilot area right about where cortana is cause in the cut scene whne it like zooms in on cortanas face it seems to freeze up a bit like its loading right before they show the hangar

im just thinking that the cryotube is the trigger that causes the a10a to load and my spawn position. so i just want to swap the cryotube for the one that causes the hangar to load which i have no idea what it is. got it so far. it sucks man not knowing.
no v-virus what i was saying is if theres something there that triggers it to load teh hangar maybe u can move it into the cryobay so that you can walk up to it and trigger it ya know waht im saying
sorry to post again. i just thought of something else but i wont be able to try till after work tomorrow. here's the idea i really dont know what makes what, load what, so i cant narrow it down now. so...first let me point out that someone mentioned this, i dont know who...but lets just make the cinematic stop. maybe if it stops there, it wont load no more but it'll keep goin and still spawn you, so change your spawn point.

i was just messing around with sutff and i thought i may as well try it
so i thought if i cant go to the hangar make the hangar come to me.
so i was gonna change teh structure of PoA-a to PoA hangar but i was thinking damn if this works its stupid how easy this is. anywho i go to save adn the value for PoA-a goes back so i tryed swaping in the hangar again i go to save and it goes back to normal again
batman if your messing with the struture bsp. like you said it keeps going back to normal. its because they have no value.
now im putting this project on hold cuz im working on a mod with ikabuianman. but this isnt over. if you guys figure it out cool let me know how all i want is to mess around up there.
As I suggested before, the BSP tags in the visible MAP file could be an index or Table of Contents, referencing the actual information that's somewhere else in the file. Until we figure out how to copy THAT information, there's nothing we can do.
Does anyone know how SparkEdit accesses this information?
Well, does it seem more realistic to what V is trying (playing in the hanger in PoA) or what I'm trying (getting the hanger to replace an MP map)? Although neither seems to be possible right now. But they could be.
