If you want you can put beastman's battle rifle model into the AOTCR mod and it makes it a bit cooler if you ask me.

Uh, there are no human turrets, no new models, and no new skins or reticles. I checked the whole map.

did u apply the bitmaps.ppf to bitmaps.map, and sounds.ppf to sounds.map?

ill release a tutorial in the next few days, on how to add beastmans' model, and my crosshairs, and sounds to SP maps.

i may just release the mods, depends......



Alx, ur mod was rushed. you didnt put a bitmap.ppf or a sound.ppf...... wish you would've taken my offer to join me, instead of trying against me. but anyway, good luck.

ill fix the problem with the ppfs and stuff, im not sure what happened...
EDIT: ok i fixed it, it should work now.
btw dank im not trying against u im just makin mods... :wink:

Awesome mod! The changes from the last one are great, especially the covvie rifle. gj :D

thanks, i made a few more changes. the battle rifle has a new firing sound, and a new weapon ready sound. I noticed how cheap the covie rifle and the ghost were because of their "stun" effects, so i removed the stun.

Again, can someone post some pics? I don't feel like installing this over the latest build of Nitro's Halo 2 mod (which I could not easily replicate due to HDD constraints).

you could just copy the .map files from nitros mod and replace them with these.

yeah alx this is a freakin good mod! i easily get killed by that elite with the covie sniper in AOTCR. anyway this mod is too good
mirrors cant talk...your lucky they cant laugh either :P

I have made the mod for bloodgulch alot better, with new models, skins, sounds, and more. There are now human turrets(thanks to dankbutter for telling me how to do turrets), and the purple covie rifle (i named it the laserburst) and battle rifle have been remodeled (battle rifle model and skin courtesy of beastman). also there have been many little changes here and there to make the mod better, including new targeting reticles, just about every weapon/vehicle has new crosshairs, except for a couple. The scorpion tank is now the covenant troop carrier that was seen on the e3 demo, and the fuel rod gun is now the brute's gun. Also, i have made a new model for the SMG. plus the gauss warthog's projectile must actually hit the target, it has no splash damage.

The assault on the control room mod is still the old one, but i will update that one soon.

Things that have been changed

Battle rifle
The assault rifle is the battle rifle, it has a lower rate of fire, more powerful, 25 round magazine, and 3x scope.

SMG
The pistol is the SMG. It has the same accuracy as the plasma rifle, very high rate of fire, and a 100 round clip.

Covenant Rifle
The sniper rifle is now the long purple covenant weapon seen Here. It is very similar in behavior to the Battle Rifle. Elites now carry Covenant Rifles instead of Plasma Rifles.

Guass Gun Warthog
The Warthog's LAAG is now the guass gun, it fires explosive shells at very high velocity.

Covenant Seige Turret
Shade turrets are now Siege Turrets. They fire a projectile similar to a Wraith mortar, only much more devastating.

Other Stuff
Covenant vehicles explode blue like on the e3 demo, ghosts have a higher rate of fire and accuracy, and fuel rods explode blue like the Brutes' guns.

I think that's it.
dude i think you should make the tank at least look like the covi bus i mean all the tank is just a tank that shoots plasma over charges and BTW nice crosshairs 8)
